The few entries that look even remotely applicable all either disable the actual USB mouse I plugged in, or do nothing (trackpad still works). It's fucking stupid the lengths MSI and other OEMs go to. I just realized this (didn't boot up my laptop earlier this weekend), was typing until I realized my palm was shifting the mouse cursor. also please say what part of my solution didnt work and also try out some of the other solutions other people have said in the comments that worked out for them this problem really sucks and it made a lot of games unplayable for me. After downloading the trackpad driver, you can search for "SynMsiDApp" and there will be a option to completely disable the touchpad from there. I had to manually go into MSI's website and download the trackpad drivers for my specific computer. I tried to uninstall the touchpad but it reinstalled after restarting my computer.Įdit: found out how to fix it. There is also nothing inside of the touchpad settings except changing its sensitivity. The keybind to turn off touchpad for my laptop is FN F3 but it does nothing (all the other F commands work). Have tried everything i could find to try and turn off touchpad.
